ALLIANCES WITH THE SUPPORT OF USAID

One of the main goals of the Conservation Alliances for Economic Viability project is to use intact alliances with several large international tour operators as a means of providing a defined economically focused on‐site consultation and implementation plan aimed at better positioning sustainable community‐based tourism projects as commercially viable suppliers on a larger international level. For this reason; with the support and coordination of Rainforest Alliance a fam trip was organized on the month of February 2011. We had the visit of Mrs. Pelin Karaka – Hollbrook Travel (USA); Mrs. Julia Kokubinski – Adventure Life (USA); Mrs. Sonya Bradley – Country Walkers (USA); Mrs. Tamsin Butler – Journey Latinamerica (USA); Mr. Greg Findley – De Tour (USA) and Mr. Kurt Holle – Consultant (PERU) Mrs. Verónica Muñoz – Ecuador, Rainfo rest Alliance Sustainable Tourism Manager.
